Other Opportunities

In addition to athletics and fine arts, there are a variety of other opportunities for SBA students to be involved in co-curricular activites and service projects.
FFA
Adopt-a-Highway
SBA is the only non-public school in South Dakota with an FFA chapter.

Stacey Rickard is the FFA advisor.
SBA participates each fall in the BEST Robotics competition at SDSU.

The robotics team is coached by Todd Seaman and Ashley Ritenour.
SBA has adopted twenty miles of highway. Students and staff clean the roads twice a year in two-mile groups.
Servant Days
Missions Trips
Soccer
Each high school class (grades 9-11)  takes a three day trip each year to serve alongside a South Dakota ministry. The senior class takes their class trip during this time.
An overseas missions trip is offered each summer, providing interested students, staff, parents and alums with an opportunity to experience serving in overseas missions.
SBA offers interested students the opporunity to participate in co-ed club team soccer.
